Quality Infrastructure and Roads
Quality infrastructure is non-negotiable. I will advocate for
necessary budget allocation to ensure all roads and public
services are in the best possible condition.
Responsible City Budget Allocation
I promise to fight for a city budget that reflects our community's needs and priorities, ensuring that our taxpayer dollars are put to the best possible use.
Affordable and Handicap Accessible Housing
Everyone should have access to housing that is not only affordable but also meets their specific needs. As a community, we need to advocate for housing policies that address these issues. Only by doing so can we ensure an inclusive, equitable living environment for all our citizens, regardless of their income or physical abilities.
Mental Healthcare Access
Mental Healthcare should be a right, not a privilege. I commit to working diligently to reduce disparities in mental healthcare access within our community. I will fight for the establishment of a local mental health clinic to provide essential health services.
Bridging the Gap Between Community and
Law Enforcement Ensuring
The safety of our community is of prime importance. I pledge to implement strategies that will not only protect our citizens but also foster a feeling of safety and security in our neighborhood. This includes transparency and communication between law enforcement and residents. I will organize regular opportunities for residents to meet with law enforcement, facilitating dialogue about the concerns and needs of the ward.
Community Clean-Ups
A clean community is a healthy community. Let's take pride in our ward together through regular community clean-up events.
Civic Education Programs
To foster a deeper understanding of our democratic processes, I pledge to support and create civic education programs emphasizing the importance of voter registration and informed voting to help citizens engage with and contribute to our democracy.
Addressing Drug Activity and Supporting Rehabilitation
I will advocate for law enforcement to increase surveillance and apprehension of drug dealers as well as increase funding for another local drug treatment and rehabilitation center. I will encourage initiatives that treat drug addiction as a health issue rather than a crime.
I am not a career politician, but a dedicated servant of the second ward. If elected, my mission will be to bring servitude, dedication, and passion back into this office. Remember, I am not running this campaign for myself, but for each and every one of you. Because I am not just a candidate, I AM second ward.
